"Beauty and Charity" - International Exhibition
The exhibition “Beauty and Charity” was opened at the House of Scientists, previous Palace of Grand Prince Vladimir Alexandrovich in November of the year 2003.It was an international action in which children from St.Petersburg, Russia, the USA, Germany and Holland took part. The participation of all young artists became reality thanks to the Rotary Club “St.Petersburg Neva” and their friends abroad. We can’t but also mention the Tourist Company “Trans-tour” (with their help around 200 presents were given to the children), Altair Company, which organized for young artists a festive dinner dedicated to the opening of the exhibition and International association of artists – descendants of nobility families.
All the paintings were dedicated to the 300-th anniversary of the city. Because of the different techniques, which children used in their works, the exhibition became very colourful and vivid. In the great variety of paintings one could easily notice an individual perception of the same scenery. The exhibition made it possible to open the inner world of each artist and brought mane pleasant minutes for those who visited it.
