Charity children drawings' exhibition "The World through children's eyes"

It is now a good tradition to organize charity children drawings' exhibitions in Trybetskoy-Naryshkin Mansion. Every year children from orphanages take part in them. This spring exhibition "The World Through Children's Eyes" is going to be more remarkable as it is international venue. Drawings were brought from several Dutch towns, Berlin and Washington. One part of exhibition is dedicated to children drawings from Washington that were created thanks to Mrs. Roslin Cambridge from Washington Arts Group of Hirshhorn Museum. 7 drawings were made influenced by modern American art presented in Hirshhorn Museum. Every picture is accompanied by a small poem of famous American poets.

Bright and colourful drawings of St.Petersburg made by children from Orphanage ¹ 46 which is supports by Scientists' House and Rotary Club "Neva". Interesting and talented children expose their works at city's art exhibitions very often.

Different art techniques were used in creating drawings dedicated to St.Petersburg. We can find interesting combination of ink and water-colour, gouache and cold batic. Brilliant creative children's personaliies are expressed in variety of materials, methods, colour spectrums and combinations. German children drawings are presented in exhibition series "Preserving the World Masterpieces". These drawings are made by the children from St.Jadwig Hospital in Berlin.

Grand opening of the exhibition was funnny and interesting - with surprises, prizes and gifts. The organizers have prepared entertainment programme for the children which includes live music and games, so everyone would feel the real excitement being on their drawings exhibition.
